BP Business Solutions is happy to welcome summer – we kicked off the season with Memorial Day weekend, and on that holiday remembered all those who gave their lives in wars fought by American forces. Right around the corner is the Fourth of July, the holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence.
In late April, many BP team members and their families participated in a day of community service in honor of a fallen hero. And it truly was an honor for all of us to assist The Travis Manion Foundation and Friends of Ridgway Park to do an extensive cleanup of this lovely park location in Philadelphia.
Earth Day 2019 takes place this month – and the theme for this year is Protect Our Species. So what does Earth Day mean to those of us at BP? We work to do our part as every member of our staff has an eye to the environment – and we look for ways to help improve Mother Earth.
After a long winter (which only seems to continue), thoughts of spring have entered all of our minds. And naturally, we also think about all the upcoming projects that are indicators of the season – from construction and landscaping to work site equipment and more – the new season is starting to ramp up. And we at BP are more than ready for all that warmer weather has in store for us.
Presidents Day is in February – and we love to put on our patriotic hats and learn more about the history of our country. Did you know, that while our new Commander-in-Chief is the nation’s 45th President, in reality there have only been 44 Presidents? Yes, it’s true!
2018 has been another terrific year for BP. Thank you to all our clients, partners, our employees, and everyone else who has a part in making BP Business Solutions a fantastic company. It is the perfect time to reflect both personally and professionally on all we have accomplished over the past twelve months. In a nutshell, we have brought on some talented new employees, we have added some exciting new services, and we have continued to grow various areas of our business. And looking into the future, we can confidently say 2019 is shaping up to be a very exciting year for our company.
The Thanksgiving holiday is always a crowd favorite. Not only does it mark the official start to the holiday season, but it’s a time to celebrate with our loved ones and friends, enjoy great food and take an extra minute to reflect on what we are thankful for. We are very grateful for our health, great employees, outstanding customers and business partners, and twenty years of business.
We welcome the fall season at BP Business Solutions – and especially love this time of year where many claim the weather is simply perfect! Schedules hum along as the kids are back in school and our work is in a nice natural rhythm, and the fun and craziness of the holidays is not yet upon us. From a business perspective, all indications are that we will only increase the number of projects on our horizon.
Labor Day traditionally signals the end of summer, and the start to a busy fall season. All of us at at BP Business Solutions hope you, your family and friends had a wonderful summer and a terrific long holiday weekend. And now, it is the start of a busy autumn season and all indicators show that projects – construction, landscaping, and more – will be ramping up. BP is ready to partner with our clients as they look to get a substantial amount of work done before the colder days kick in later in the year. If you have any needs – give us a call, as we can very likely help make your project run more smoothly.
There are many changes taking place in the recycling industry – both on a domestic front, as well as internationally. And since the industry is evolving, there is some uncertainty about how to go about recycling and we hear many questions. We at BP have compiled a chart with clear information on what items should always be recycled, and equally (if not more) importantly we describe what items should NOT be included in a recycling container or bin. Find out more about what is going on in the industry – and why!
